Meeting/Discussion

Date: 27 June 2011
Time: after Digital Media lecture class
Venue: FOM XR0001

Matters discussed are as follows:
1.) The division of task for each of the members
2.) The design and layout for the website
3.) The content for homepage and also each individual page

All the members will gather after Monday's digital media lecture classes and after Friday's tutorial classes to talk about the work in progress of our group assignment.
When we faced problems on doing the assignment, we can easily meet each other because all of us are staying in the hostel.

proposal

For the final assignment of Digital Media 1, the title that we had chosen to talk about Malaysian Culture is FOOD and the specific area we chose is Ipoh, Perak. The reason we choose Ipoh is because Ipoh can be consider as the paradise for people who loves food.

The objective of creating this blog is to promote Ipoh's food, analyze the role of food and how important is it related to Malaysian Culture. We would like to bring information about Ipoh's cuisine to people and attract them to visit Ipoh.

We will be using 2 methods to gather information:
1) Do research

We will search for information from internet, magazines, newspaper, etc.

2) Other sources

We will do a small survey and target our friends who come from Ipoh. We will prepare some questions to ask about the food in Ipoh so that we can get more information about the assignment we will be doing soon.

Each member of our group will be assign to one sub topic, and we have divided the sub topics to each member as below:

Ipoh bean sprouts chicken [NG PUI YEE EVELYN]
Ipoh 'Hor Fun' [NG CHIA WIN]
Ipoh white coffee [PUTERI NURFATIN BT MEGAT MOHD HISEMUDIN]
Dim sum [FIONA KU CHOON MEI]

We hope that our assignment will let people know that Ipoh actually has a lot of delicious food and show them how Ipoh's food are related to Malaysian Culture. People will surely get attracted and wanted to go Ipoh to try out the nice food!
